Delete Your Account
At Purpose Budget, we respect your right to control your data.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- •All transactions and account data
- •Budget categories, groups, and assignments
- •Recurring transaction templates
- •Bank connection information (Plaid tokens are revoked)
- •Billing and subscription data (Stripe customer is deleted)
- •User profile and preferences
- •All spaces and shared access
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. We recommend exporting your data before deletion.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Sign in to self-service
The fastest way to delete your account is to sign in and use the self-service option in your settings.
Sign InOption 2: Request via email
If you can't access your account, you can request deletion by email:
- Email support@purposebudget.com
- Use subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
Processing Time
- Self-service:Immediate deletion
- Email requests:Processed within 30 days
